The feeling of Oneness

The feeling of being one with the Universe, being part of whole Nature, knowing your little stature is perhaps best brought about by the magnificence of Nature as in High mountains, gurgling rivers, the vast seas, the expanses of desert. It just helps us to understand that we are a mere drop in the ocean. Here are few snaps which helped to puncture that bloated ego, that useless sense of 'this is mine' and so on.

On way to Badrinath
Waiting for your turn, Kanyakumari

  1. What am I but a speck of dust in this vast universe....

That's the best philosophical line I can come up with at this moment ;)

Great pics...especially love the second one...:)

  2. I'd rather say "every drop of water makes a mighty ocean". Your existence definitely has a purpose and life is a journey towards or for this purpose. Now is that philosophical or what! Love those pics. The 3rd one is my favourite :)

  6. Very true. The magnanimity of the nature humbles us. I have been to Vagamon. Gorgeous place that is. Wish to go there again.

Try making a journey at least upto Haridwar. The arathi there gives you calm and energy at the same time

True, my dear. Even the sandstorms of summers in north India is beautiful. Some time big drops fall soon after a storm.:)

  15. Nothing like the majestic Himalayas. One feels completely powerless and a part of nature at the same time. You see the huge ragged peaks and realize how insignificant we all are. And how awe inspiring nature can be.
